Turmeric-Ginger Golden Milk Latte
Ingredients:
– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
– A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
– A sprinkle of ground nutmeg (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Add the turmeric powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup (if using), and black pepper to the saucepan.
- Whisk the mixture until well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and pour the golden milk latte into a mug.
- Sprinkle with ground nutmeg (if desired) for garnish.
